Air conditioning has a huge potential for efficiency improvements
Air conditioning is one of the largest energy consumers in the residential and industrial sector. Thousands of air conditioners put high demands on our electrical networks. On a smaller scale, air conditioning accounts for a significant part of your energy bill. www.aircosaver.com/about.php
Wind vs Solar Comparison of Cost per Produced kWh
Wind System: (This information is over 2 years old and on outdated technology)
Purchase cost $7,015.00 divided by the total energy produced 954.2 kWh. equals $7.35 per kWh produced. (Results are even better today)
Solar System:
Purchase cost $9,181.00 divided by the total energy produced 859.76 kWh equals $10.68 per kWh produced. www.detronics.net/wind_solar.pdf (Copy and Paste)
Energy Saving Tips on money, energy and the environment
Did you know the average household could cut a third – or even half – of its current energy bill by switching to energy-efficient appliances, equipment and lighting, which use less energy than standard products?

Why Utilities Are Embracing Wind Power
Over the last decade, as fears over the reliability and cost of wind power have proven unfounded, utilities have begun to generate more electricity from wind in their service areas. In the last few years, some utilities have fully embraced the renewable resource because of customer demand for cleaner energy. Utility support for wind was clear at the Wind Power 2007 conference where 42 electricity providers were present.
According to the German Wind Energy Association
The use of wind power has created savings of 2 billion Euro in 2007 for users. In the first half year, German wind farms produced 22 billion kilo-watts of electricty, about 9% of the German electricity consumption. Electricity from wind farms is now taking the place in the electricity market of increasingly expensive conventional power plants, such as old inefficient gas or coal production. www.wind-energie.de/en/
Federal, State and City all agree:
The federal government, the state governments and the city governments, plus the city hall permit departments all want us to be producing electricity.
"Blowin’ in the Wind" an homage to Bob Dylan’s 1963 song, has become the cliché for renewable energy advocates.
